Who we are

Taffery is operated by Marerisoft, MB, a small partnership registered in Lithuania (company code 307611399, Vilnius). In these Terms, "Taffery", "we", and "us" mean Marerisoft, MB.

Acceptance & eligibility

By using Taffery you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy (both right beside this page). Taffery is intended for adults 18 or older.

What Taffery is, and is not

Taffery is a non-medical keepsake for pregnancy and early parenthood, a place to keep moments. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or tracking of any kind, and it is not a medical device. The Medical Disclaimer, beside this page, says the same. For anything about your health or your baby’s health, talk to your care team; in an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Your content: yours, on your device

Everything you put into Taffery, across one or more keepsakes, is yours and stays on your device (and in your own iCloud backup, if you have iCloud Backup on). We claim no ownership and no license: your content never reaches us.

That also means you are in charge of keeping it safe: if iCloud Backup is off and your phone is lost or erased, your keepsake cannot be recovered by us (we have no copy, by design). The "Save a copy" option in the app lets you keep your own copy wherever you choose. Deleting the app, or using "Erase everything", permanently removes it from the device.

Membership

Taffery membership is optional, purchased through Apple and charged to your Apple ID; there is no Taffery account. It comes three ways: an auto-renewing monthly or yearly plan, or a one-time lifetime purchase (a non-consumable: paid once, it never renews). One membership covers everything you keep, however many keepsakes you have. The price and renewal terms are shown in the app before you buy; billing starts when you subscribe. You can use Taffery free for your first week of keeping, before any membership is needed.

The monthly and yearly plans renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel any time in your Apple ID settings. The lifetime purchase is one-time and does not renew. Restoring a purchase on a new phone is handled by Apple ("Restore purchases"). Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store’s policies. Everything you have already kept stays yours and stays visible if you cancel.

Lawful use

Use Taffery only as it is intended and only lawfully. You are responsible for what you put into your keepsake and for anything you choose to share through the share sheet.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taffery is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data on a device we never had access to), and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending things

You may stop using Taffery at any time: delete the app, or use "Erase everything" in The Lid. Since there is no account, there is nothing to close on our side.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection law of the state or country where you live.

Changes

We may update these Terms; for material changes the app will tell you, and the new effective date will be posted. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
